About Us
We are a small publisher based in East Gippsland dedicated to keeping Australian literature alive. Specialising in anthologies of poetry and prose, our mission is to preserve our country’s most vital stories and ensure they remain accessible for study and enjoyment.
Through high-quality publishing and dedicated teacher support resources, we are reigniting the passion for local literature in classrooms across the country.

Edward Harrington: Selected Verse
Remembered as “the last of the bush balladists,” Edward ‘Ted’ Harrington (1895–1966) was also a poet of remarkable range. A veteran of the 4th Light Horse Brigade who took part in the famous mounted Charge at Beersheba, Harrington earned acclaim as a ‘Digger Poet’. Yet he was equally skilled at capturing city life in poems such as The Derelicts and celebrating beautiful places like Mallacoota.
While classic verses like My Old Black Billy and The Bushrangers have ensured a loyal following, Harrington’s wider body of work has been unavailable for decades. Selected and introduced by David Williams, this long-overdue collection brings Ted Harrington back into print after seventy years. It is a gift to Australians in the country or the city who value their nation’s literature.
This volume is an instant collector’s item for those who appreciate this popular Australian literary icon. Beautifully edited, designed and typeset by Australian book publishing professionals, it presents Harrington’s best verses.

In the Works: A New Australian Anthology
We are currently curating a landmark anthology celebrating the finest voices in Australian writing. This collection explores the restless boundary where the continent ends—stories shaped by salt, storms, and the shifting tides. It captures the rugged beauty and isolated spirit of life on the edge.
